I finished the skirt yesterday - I liked it a lot better after I put the interfacing on the waist and hemmed it. Here's some pics...
I talked to my co-worker again today about the "commissioned sweater project" and I think we decided on something that will be a little bit like Serrano from the Knitty archive. That will be a challenge but I think it will be fun.
I also bought some additional fabric yesterday - I think I'm going to try a shirt soon. I bought this pattern and some cotton fabric in a small brown and pink flowered print.
The skirt looks great on you. I really like the brown. I bought that same shirt pattern a year or more ago, but I haven't made it yet. I will be watching to see how yours turns out.
