No, I'm not getting married again! But I think this design may be what I choose for my 4th project in my sewing class. I bought this pattern yesterday and just love it!
Our teacher said that she is adding a project of our own choosing for everyone, as we are all doing so well, so I'm thinking of making something I can really use for my cruise in March. This style looks good on me, and usually when I buy dresses I have to have so many alterations (pull up straps, take in upper bodice, shorten length) that I am excited about the possibility of having one fit at the outset. Plus, to have the teacher help me with it is a huge benefit (as she sews custom made evening dresses for clients.) I looked at the instructions and it actually doesn't look too hard. I can see a trip to Vogue Fabrics in my future!

Which version would you make? They are all very pretty!!

Heh, I was going to ask the same question as Adrienne. I vote for the one in the center.

Yeah.. What they said. It would be so nice on a cruise.

Wow - this dress looks impressive! Even better when you can tailor it to your body measurements. I can't wait to see it!

What a lovely pattern. Such a flattering style. What fabric and colour are you thinking of?
Just browsed the photos of your haul from stitches, gorgeous yarns, couldn't pick a favourite.

I like the dress, which back will you make?

Just caught up on your posts from this week and really enjoyed seeing your meet-up and all your gorgeous new yarn! I finally decided to go to Rhinebeck tomorrow so we'll see what treasures there are. I won't be fighting anyone for sock yarn, LOL.
Congrats to Jim on his new fame -- having inspired sock yarn is quite an honor in the knitting community.
I love the dress pattern you've chosen and think it will be perfect for your cruise. I was disappointed that more people didn't dress up when we went on ours. I love a good dress!
