Glad you had a good weekend!!! All of your projects look fantastic! I looked at that thread when I was in Joanns, and didn't get it. They also didn't have any more tables in stock! LOL

Michelle

Alright so you finished the back and both fronts in one day, you are a speed demon knitter!!!

I love the Christmas knits! I better go work on mine!!

Kerry

Holy crap girl! You've been busy. Where do you find the Cabo Hoodie pattern? I think my little miss Duder needs one. :-)

Lara

Oh my gosh! You got a ton done! I don't know how you do it. You must knit at the speed of light! everything looks fantastic. LOVE drive thru. You did a fabulous job. I also can't wait to see how Mirepoix turns out. I wasn't crazy about that pattern but yours is looking so pretty!

Kristin

Wow! You've been busy! Everything looks fabulous!

Sharon

Gosh girl, you're fast. It takes me months to bang out what you do in a weekend. *shakes head*. They are looking beautiful.

Robyn

Your Drive Thru looks Fab!

mary

Great sweaters! I esp. love the cabo hoodie.

Stacey_CrimsonPurl

Wow!! Pictures do say a lot!! Was probably best anyway!

I should have known your needles would have been smokin' over there! :oD

Too cute @ McKenna wants to "sew". Luv it!! And that gift package will be a great introduction!

lisa

The sweaters look so great. I love both of them. Really need to get the Cabo pattern...Mmmm wonder who I could knit it for?

marjorie

All your knitting looks gorgeous. The fabric you picked for the blouse should elminate problems that result from difficult (slippery) fabric and designs that require matching. It took me a lot of tries to get a blouse right, and I consider blouses to be challenging because collars, cuffs, and buttonholes take some experience. Cut yourself some slack.

Can you buy the Guttermann thread like that as a selection? How fabulous is that!

Jenny

Everything is so cute! I love the Cabo especially. Anything made with Malabrigo can't be bad, right? Soooo jealous of the thread box! I almost got it too, but our Joann's was CRAZY this weekend.

Bobbi

wow! once again I'm amazed at how fast you knit! Everything is really coming along.

LOL now that's commitment!

Marin

I envy your knitting project collection.

And, for some reason, your thread collection.

Monica

There should be a special club for speed knitters like you! Your projects look great ` as always! That awesome thread assortment really does speak volumes about your commitment to sewing. The shirt looks great too.

Ruby

I wish I could have a weekend like that. Fantastic. Love drive thru, would wear that myself. And as for the Guterman threads. I didn't know that us mere mortals could even buy the whole case like that. Want so badly.

xx

Andrea

I am so glad you had a good weekend. I just got caught up on reading your post. By the way, Happy belated Thanksgiving.

I see you got a lot done. As they say, you were one busy beaver. I love everything, and can't wait th see them finished.

As for your previous posts, please don't stop sewing. Like everyone else said and speaking from experience, sewing is challenging and sometimes I want to pull my hair out. I still have problems to this day with waistbands. To be honest, it might not even be you. Sometimes the waistbands aren't printed/drawn right. You should definitely do a sample first before working with your good material. That way you can work out the kinks first.

kuka

oooooooooh all that thread is so pretty!!!
I love the idea of a crafty little kit for kids! So fun =D

Heather

Drive-Thru looks fantastic!!

tiennie

Nice projects! I've had that same thing happen to me too with typepad. I can usually get my post back if I hit the back browser button.

Maryanne

Everything looks great Robin! Looks like you've been busy :) How cool that you may be teaching McKenna to knit! Fun!!

Jeanine

Somebody has been busy! You made LOTS of great progress. The thread... OMG!!!! WOW!

Heather R

About Me

  • I love to knit and sew, although not as obsessively as I used to. Now I'm more focused on quality over quantity as I have less free time to work on crafting now that I have started a new, more demanding (but rewarding) job. I'm RobinM on Ravelry and RobinMCPA on Twitter if you want to stop by and say hi!
