Quick funny story - you know how I said yesterday that I planned to see how long I could knit and sew from my yarn and fabric stashes? Well, yesterday, I'm working on Baby Cables and he comes up to my knitting room, walks into THE CLOSET (with all the crazy yarn and fabric) and says, "Yeah, you know, you probably could do this for awhile. But what about sales? You can't pass those up if you see them....." I said I wasn't going to look at sale emails or check out Elann.com's specials - he says, "Well, if you miss a sale, you know you're going to be kicking yourself." He's like a bad angel (more like a devil!!) on my left shoulder saying, you know you want to do it, just do it, come on, it will be fun, please, pretty please with sugar on top????? And that's one of the reasons I love him so much.
That is too funny. You have to admit, he knows you so well. Saturday afternoon I told Robert I was going to the grocery store. I did a side trip to JoAnn Fabrics on my way there. Of course he called me when I was in JoAnn's. He said, are you at the grocery store, I said not yet and he said, yeah, endulging at JoAnn's again? Have fun, and call me when you get to the grocery store.
By the way, I finished the Twilight Series yesterday. It was Fantastic. I saw the first commercial on Sunday for the Movie which comes out next month. What would you like for me to do with the cds. I can send them back to you if you would like?

How nice of him..... Mine fusses because my stash (yarn, spinning fiber, fabric, genealogy stuff....) threatens to overtake his 'stash' (books on elections returns, 'rubble' {bits of stone, etc.} collected from places he's writing a book about)......

What a lovely enabler you have. Sorry I've been so absent -- I think about your amazing output but can't keep up even reading.

My DH does that too, although he doesn't know about the sale emails. He drove me to Maryland for the Sheep & Wool Festival two years ago, and after he saw what I had gotten, he asked if we shouldn't go back the next morning before driving home so I could pick up some of the things I missed. I get a similar comment when I come home from Rhinebeck, "Is that all you got?". And we have yarn all over the house as it is. But I do get repeated requests to get the yarn off the ironing board.

Hee hee! I have one of those enablers here at home too ;) But then again, I sort of enable him too.... Maybe that's why we love each other so much! Or maybe it's *because* we love each other so much :)
