Well, I braved it and looked at the Elann sneak peek for November - none of those yarns are ones I can't live without, so we're good for the next month on yarn buying, at least. Elann is my biggest temptation as there are so many great closeout deals.
I also went to my oral surgeon this morning for a checkup after going to my regular dentist yesterday for a routine cleaning, and he says I am good to go on getting the bottom two crowns done in January! This is sooner than I thought, as I thought I might have to wait on all three til mid-next year, and I'm very glad about it even though none of these three teeth really show when I smile or anything. I still have to wait until July for the upper one, where the reconstructive effort was more intense, but at least I don't have to wait on all of them. The price may be lower than what I was quoted yesterday for this second phase, as it turns out that my surgeon already charged me for a piece of what the regular dentist was quoting, so that's good news as well.
I'm on about row 32 on Baby Cables, no pics today.
Class tonight, things are moving along smoothly. I just got assigned to a special project at work (not as exciting as it sounds - believe it or not, it's a team to...wait for it.....redesign the performance review forms/process.) Doesn't that sound like fun? I will (darn) have to miss class on 11/19 though because of it, as I have to fly to Dallas that day for this two day team meeting. And then we don't have class the next week because of Thanksgiving, so all in all I only have four class sessions left including tonight, plus the final. It's coming together!
Ooh, yay! Good news all around! :)

Funny - I felt the same way about the Elann Sneak Peak yarns, too!

To funny - just checked my email and was thinking of you when I saw the Elann email!

Bloglines is apparently not picking up your feed for me again...good thing I checked.
I admire your goal of nonstashing. Since I heard about my job situation, I've been stashing books like crazy. I'm better with the yarn at least. I do want to knit from my stash -- too many pretty things I wish I had to wear right now! It must be even harder for you, since you can knit your sweaters much faster.
Glad the oral surgery is going so well. That is wonderful. I'm sure you'll be so glad when it and this class are OVER. :)

That is good news about the teeth.
There was a recent WSJ article saying something about performance reviews being counterproductive. Perhaps you should leave it around in conspicuous places, unless a two-day trip to Dallas is something you're interested in doing.

I haven't looked at Elann yet. Sounds like it is just as well. Although I just may meaner over there if I'm bored.
And hooray for saving money! That's always good. More to spend on yarn. Oh wait, um, spend on chocolate, yeah, that's it.
