It feels like forever since I've done one of these types of posts - but here goes!
First, Habanero - working on waist shaping endlessly. At least the sleeves are only elbow-length as I am really.sick of this one.
Next up, Tang, in variegated Brooks Farm Riata. This one's moving along quickly and I'm already on the hip shaping after starting this last weekend.
Even Mirepoix has some progress since I brought it to work - just bound off the armholes and neck, will be setting up the steek stitches on the next round. I'm taking it home this weekend as I think it needs some dedicated attention to get that all set up right.
I did start Wheat Ear with the SKC, from some cream Pima Tencel I had in stash, but haven't gotten past the neck ribbing yet so no pics.
Also, here is the yarn I bought for Bijou - I bought the exact recommended yarn and hope to start this maybe next month some time after I get some of these projects off the needles. It's Classic One-Fifty held together with Classic Elite Silky Alpaca Lace.
Auditors are (attempting to) kick our butts, but we turned something that could have been a very bad negative into an actual favorable adjustment. If we can make it stick, which I should be able to based on persuasive convos with them so far. I should have been a lawyer, but there's no more formal education in my future. I have a memo to write today to make my case.
Have a great weekend! I know I for one am very much looking forward to it after this week!

I'm sorry you're sick of Habanero, but I think it will be worth it!

Mine came in too! Thanks for telling me where to get the suggested yarn. We're going to have matching Bijouxs. lol.

Habanero is going to be pretty, whenever it gets done! ;) I love that riatta. I'm definitely getting some of that at my next festival.

Everything is coming along great. Habanero will be great when you are done. I love the sweater but I know how tiring it can working at that gauge!
I am waiting for my LYS to get the yarn for Bijoux in. She had to order it but she said Classic Elite usually takes awhile - especially when a popular pattern comes out.

I remember when you cast on for Mirepoix! I can't wait to see it finished - bet you can't either ;-)

I bet you'd make a good corporate lawyer or tax attorney! I do regret the day I blew off the "Consider Health Care" recommendation on my career aptitude test in high school. I think I would have been a damn good heart surgeon (Good needle and thread experience too ;) !. My favorite shows are watching surgeries of any kind, Dr. G Medical Examiner, Mystery Diagnosis and the like. I'd watch them all day if I could. My youngest is like me and watches them too. He's "Dr. Tony" in training.
I'd take watching a shoulder/tendon repair surgery over Project Runway any day. Of course, my closet reflects that :) !

Mirepoix really is sight for sore eyes!

I know what you mean; I'm sick of some of my knits too. But Fantine is being resurrected. I need to look up Bijoux as I don't remember that pattern!
I love the colors you've chosen for Mirepoix. Pinks and greens. Mmmm.
You go on the auditors!!!!
