I would never have known that you had so many issues with the pattern, if you hadn't told me -- the top looks great on you, and at least from the photos, a perfect fit! Of course, I am not in any hurry to re-cast on for this, either, but I do love it enough that I'm going to suffer through that first section eventually, LOL.

Good luck with Broderie -- it looks amazing so far.

kozykitty

I love it! It is really flattering!

Carol

Well, even though you had problems, the finished knit is lovely! Although, given the struggle, I don't think it'll go on my list of 'want to make'!

adrienne

It's gorgeous Robin!

Jeanine

Yay on your finished knit! It looks good on you. I can't believe you ordered that ribbon onling. You matched it so well. Can't wait to see Broderie.

Jenny

Very pretty & it looks so great with that skirt! Cute necklace too! Is it Lia?

Lara

Wow. Congrats on finishing the pattern with all the issues you had! I am not sure I would have! It looks fantastic so all the issues were worth while. I love the color too.

I really have never seen ribbon with seams in them. I think it is great they let you know ahead of time but I seems they should be able to find a way around that issue. I have ordered ribbon from The Ribbon Jar online and they were awesome!

sandra

Somehow I really like it worn backward!
Paloma turned out great! All effort was worthwhile!

Paloma looks fabulous, even if you're not entirely happy with the fit.
As I recall, when I did mine, I changed the division of the stitches such that there are more stitches for the bust and fewer for the sleeves, and I also made the front just slightly wider than the back in terms of stitch count.

Kerry

Too cute! You must be glad you stuck with it even though it was such a PITA. It looks great!

Michelle

Very cute knit!! I like the color on you very much!

Melita

Wow Paloma looks great on you - tres chic! Glad that you presevere despite the "issues". Can't wait to see how Broderie looks as it is looking great so far!

Heather

I LOVE the finished knit, and the one in progress! Your knits are so inspiring, as usual!

:O)

About Me

  • I love to knit and sew, although not as obsessively as I used to. Now I'm more focused on quality over quantity as I have less free time to work on crafting now that I have started a new, more demanding (but rewarding) job. I'm RobinM on Ravelry and RobinMCPA on Twitter if you want to stop by and say hi!
