I just found out that I made the top 30 for the PR Top Patterns contest with this (ironically, the semi-maternity frock!) I had entered a few projects, as I've sewn a number of the patterns that made the Patternreview favorites list, but this one made it to the finals and will be modeled in the runway show (by me, as I'm going to drive there to attend) at the Sewing Expo in the Detroit area on September 26th. I don't quite think it's $1000- Fabric.com-gift-certificate-worthy, so I doubt I'll win a prize, but it will be fun to see what everyone else's projects look like and meet some fellow sewists!
OMG!!! Congrats Robin!!! I'm keeping everything crossed for you!

Congrats on making it to the top 30! That dress looks great on you and does not look maternity at all.
While you're in Novi, you should head over to Haberman Fabrics in Royal Oak. It is an incredibly amazing store (http://habermanfabrics.com/). I think they have a booth at the expo, but you have to see the store in person. It's about a 20 minute drive away.
