I think I have the gmail hacking thing resolved now - hopefully there are no more attacks. Not sure why people waste their time being a pain in the &ss to the world at large - it's not like anyone reads or responds to their spam anyway, so what's the point?
Anyway I bought some fabric today as Fabric.com was having a sale on some rayon jersey and while I was at it, I decided to pick up some ITY and slinky to get the free shipping ($35 minimum.) I spent $40, which wasn't bad considering that I have five new pieces from this.
2.5 yards of ITY jersey
3 yards of slinky (rayon acetate, 50% stretch)- this stuff makes some great wrap and going-out dresses - I just have to use the serger or the workhorse metal sewing machine on it because my regular machine cries out in submission when being asked to sew it
another 3 yards of slinky - it was like $2.79 a yard so I figured what the heck. I think the colors may be a little too similar to the other one, but who actually knows what it will end up looking like anyway! I can always use it for a (hopefully wearable) practice version of something, or a cat blanket if that fails.
and finally 2.5 yards each of the original rayon jersey that was on sale and got me on to the site:
I think I have enough fabric now. However, I end up saying that like every two weeks after buying more! I haven't felt like finishing any of my knit projects lately, just monogamously working on Vine Yoke right now - but I know that some day soon I will suddenly get the urge to finish all of them up at once, so I'm not worrying about it.

You got some great fabrics!

They totally get me hook, line & sinker with that free shipping. Cool fabrics! The two black & teal ones will be cute dresses.

Love the fabric! Especially the top one. I don't know what the deal is with those hackers. You are right, nobody reads those things!

I saw this sale, Robin, and was able to avoid it LOL. I'm in the process of decluttering my house room by room ,and I'm dreading the thought of assembling/organizing my stash.
