Now Fabric.com sells yarn!! I just got an email saying that everything is 20% off in their new knitting/crochet section through midnight on 11/16. And as always, it's free shipping on orders of $35 or more (a lower threshold than most other online yarn sellers.) I was thinking about buying some Rowan Felted Tweed for Tangled Yoke Cardigan, which I've wanted to make for awhile. Hmmm. I was thinking either "Gilt", "Cinnamon" or "Paisley" for a color. Any suggestions?
Today must be yarn sale day, because I also got an email from kyarns.com on the 50% off closeout of Tilli Tomas Fil de la Mer (which I am currently - sort of- using for the Hourglass Jacket.) It's a really nice silky, drapey yarn and I have to sit on my hands not to buy some more.
I really wish I didn't know that fabric.com now carries yarn. This could be very bad indeed. I just finished a sweater using Rowan Felted Tweed in Ginger and I love that yarn. Hmmm, I really like the Gilt colourway.

Why did you have to tell us this? :) Just kidding. Now I am going to be stalking fabric.com for yarn. I am happy to know this because they always have great prices on fabric. Maybe they will on yarn.

I will suspend my dislike of fall colors for myself, and vote Gilt for you for Tangled Yoke. It will look pretty with your hair color. Someday I'd like to make that sweater, but for me, I might choose gray.
I'm off to check out kyarns and the Tilli Tomas. If you see Flurries (the glass beaded yarns) please let me know. I'm going to need the raspberry and red colors for that Noni purse, and her yarns seem to be incredibly hard to find.

Yikes...I should not have clicked over here ;)

The Tangled yoke is a lovely pattern! I don't blame you for yearning for all that yarn! As soon as I see a yarn sale, I have to sit on my hands too! I am on a yarn diet for the next 3 months, so we will see how long my self-control lasts....

That's not good to know. ;)

I just saw that yesterday. I think this can be dangerous for us.

I just checked the website, and they have some great prices--but I quickly clicked the "close" button because I can't justify any new yarn purchases just now. The next time I daydream about yarn, that will definitely be a destination.

I really didn't need to know that fabric.com now carries yarn. LOL I think the paisley would look fab!

You know, I was musing hte other day about how the interenet has widened my choices for things. But it also gives me more opportunity to fall down. And buy, oh, boots for example....

Gilt, nice and rich, should be perfect with your hair and eyes.
