Great sweater.
I hope you enjoy as you make.

Katinka

Isn't there pretty stuff in that issue? I'm in heaven.

I'm knitting my first pieced sweater in something like 3 1/2 years, and man, is it a pain!

Cynder

I love that one. Maybe we can root for it for the next SKC club?

Jenny

Love that one! I am definitely making that kerchief thing too. I can never find a hat that will stay on this giant head of mine, so I think that will be perfect!

Emily

Ha, I thought of you as soon as I saw that sweater! I'm sure it would be easy to convert to the round if they did knit it in pieces...

Susan - Knitters Delight

There are some really pretty things in this issue for sure!

bettyc

You know, I liked that one a lot, but I'm afraid that I can tell just by looking at it that the neckline will become really annoying and fall off my shoulders with wear. I wonder if it can be narrowed....

Michelle

OHH cute!

Debby

Honestly, I was a little disappointed in IK. The only thing I might consider would be the sweater you picked out. Can't wait to see yours as you knit it up!

Carol

That's a nice one. I also like the long tunic one. But I don' t love the turtleneck part of it. Ah well....

Lara

Oh, I saw that. It is soooo pretty! That is about the only thing I liked in this issue....which is rare! Can't wait to see yours. I better see if have yarn in stash for it!

marjorie

It seems unlikely that it would be knit in pieces, although almost all of Deborah Newton's designs in her Sweater Design book are knitted flat. There do not seem to be shoulder seams, and so you could eliminate any side or underarm seams if you chose to. It is possible it might be bottom up, though.

Arizona

That's beautiful!

Andrea

I received my magazine yesterday. I love the sweater you picked out.

knittymuggins

Ooh, I loved that one too!

About Me

  • I love to knit and sew, although not as obsessively as I used to. Now I'm more focused on quality over quantity as I have less free time to work on crafting now that I have started a new, more demanding (but rewarding) job. I'm RobinM on Ravelry and RobinMCPA on Twitter if you want to stop by and say hi!
