I saw a post on Ravelry alerting me that the Winter issue of Twist Collective was now up, which was a very nice surprise as I hadn't gotten an email telling me this! (ETA - the email just went out!) As always, I am in love with a number of the patterns! I restricted myself to only buying the seamless or near-seamless ones, as those are the ones I know I'd knit first anyway.
I bought Skara Brae, Cambridge Cables and Bright Star...for now. I liked many of the patterns though, and I'm sure I'll end up doing my usual thing of buying them all at some point. YUM. So many things to knit, so little time! I am on the sleeves of the Mondo Cable Cardi and have been knitting monogamously on that for the past two weeks, so I should be done with it soon.
I turned in my coat on Saturday and should have it back soon to show you all. I am on muslin #2 for my pants project - muslin #1 was pretty ok in my book and muslin #2 (after making pattern adjustments) is worse in some ways, better in others. So we'll see. I've decided to go to my class on Mondays in addition to Saturdays, as the teacher encourages that and also works one-on-one with everyone anyway, so there's no real "lecture" to disrupt.
Can't wait to see the finished coat! The dress is SO cute! I wonder why that pattern is out of print now. I am going to see if my Joanns has it next time they have a cheapie sale on Buttericks. I have a shirt just like it that I LOVE! That Malabrigo looks absolutely scrumptious!

I want Kelmscott from Twist Collective -- totally adore that shawl collar.
Good luck with your coat, and with your new pants project!

I can't wait to see your coat! What a lot of work that must have been!
Gorgeous patterns you're considering. Cambridge Cables and Bright Star are absolutely gorgeous! Are you thinking of plain, or variegated yarn for the Cambridge pattern?
