I have half a sleeve left on Gathered Pullover, and Vine Yoke 2.0 is moving along very nicely as well. Here are some pics - the Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece in "Black Forest" is working very well for the lace. I decided to make the 32 this time (2.5 -3 ish inches of negative ease) and that size seems to be perfect.
I also put the working stitches on waste yarn and washed it to make sure it didn't grow too much and it only grew lengthwise, the way it was supposed to. So I think success on this pattern is based on two key factors 1.) picking a size with at least 2" of negative ease and 2.) using a non-woolly yarn. I feel like the lace pattern lies flatter and shows up better in this 80/20 cotton/wool blend. I've figured out that I don't like Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece that much for stockinette stitch garments (too bulky feeling) but it works very well for lace work.

That looks really nice so far. I do love the how the stitches look in the Brown Sheep. I agree that the non-woolly yarn is working for this project.

I can tell already from the photos that 2.0 is going to be a much more successful knit. I wish I knew all that you do about which yarns work best for which types of patterns.
