At lunch just now, I cut out the pattern tissue and most of the fabric pieces for the dress from this pattern:
I will be eliminating the zipper as this is designed for knits and can go right over my head. I saw another review for it today where the reviewer had done the same thing, and I liked her version.
I'm using this fabric from my stash:

Oh, I like that a lot!! I don't think I've ever noticed that pattern in the Vogue catalog. The tunic length top is awesome and I love that the pieces can be both on the casual side and the business side. I might have to pick that one up next time Vogue is on sale at JoAnn's. I can't wait to see yours finished.

That is a beautiful pattern, it looks very classy. I sew a lot the last weeks. In fact so much I was too busy updating my blog :-(
