Yesterday I was feeling "blah" and the sleeves on Birgitte Lace Pullover were getting boring, so I cast on for a new project: Teva Durham's Shirtwaist Pullover from the new Knitscene. I know, I usually shy away from her patterns as they tend to have, um, "technical difficulties", but I really thought the pattern was cute and worth it. I like Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece for lace patterns, especially at a looser gauge than it's normally knit, so I swatched yesterday and decided to cast on. It's working up really nicely and quickly so far.
The yarn is BSCF "Jungle Green" from my stash. I'm already done with the peplum and eyelet round and am a few rounds into the bodice.

Cool pattern! Here's hoping it's drama free the rest of the way!

I liked this pattern (and a few more from that mag!) as well, so I'm glad you're knitting it, and anxious to see the finished product!
:O)

What a gorgeous color! I want to get that issue but haven't seen it in the store yet! I may have to go to my LYS to get it!

I love this pattern, glad to see you knitting it! I am planning to use Valley Yarns Goshen for mine, once I find an excuse to order from Webs (again).

You are so fast! It looks great...I wish we lived closer so I could knit with you! Maybe I would finish my sweaters faster. :)

The lace looks beautiful in that yarn, particularly in that color! What a nice choice!
